Some of the staff of Sunpebbles beaded jewelry went to the farm this week end. It was a short visit but was a great stress reliever for our bead jewelry design team. The jewelry team enjoyed the little pleasures of the farm including picking vegetables, talking to the farm operator and being acquainted by the farm animals. Being a small farm, the farm was only able to keep a few animals. But the animals where interesting enough to keep the creative minds of or jewelry team fairly entertained.

One of the notable creatures that thrive in the farm where the pecking ducks. These birds are generally timid, but the jewelry makers found out soon enough that they can be quite territorial. When approached by strangers(our beaded jewelry designers), they are quick to make noises and one even tried to chase off one of our jewelry maker. Imagine her surprise!

Another animal which we found very interesting where the guinea fowl. They are very beautiful birds(an idea for a beaded jewelry theme pops into mind) but they are, like the ducks, territorial as well. They do mind our advances, and they defiantly let the jewelry team know of their dis-pleasure. They are not as aggressive as the ducks however, they they are very loud when threatened. They make loud, high pitched noises when approached.

At the end of the day, we packed the vegetables we have picked, called it a day. I felt that this planning trip will bring a little more color to the Sunpebbles beaded jewelry team's daily chores, and judging on their enthusiasm on the way home, it sure did!
